Gunners and Rammers should definitely not go for glassy. No matter you are Pirate, Mechanic or Scout.

It is not worth to get slightly more damage and to be glassy. Craft is always important.

Missiler defenders with good speed on Soldier, can try to be glassy.

This is what will happen, when a glassy attacker meets a not-so-glassy defender.

If you noticed, they were using same weapons, just with different stat. Glassy is definitely not a good choice.
