The XMS2 family is Corsair’s mainstream line of performance DDR2 memory. These modules allow users to experience outstanding memory performance and stability. Available in signature black XMS heat spreaders, each module is built using carefully selected RAMs.

Yet, I actually got a really weird and rare problem.

Look at the Slot1 and Slot3. They actually got different Part Number and different Frequency. I suspect there is something wrong with the RAM.

(Though, I actually suspect CPU-Z too; So, I have tested with other System Information software, which gave me the same result)

I decided to test them one by one. So, firstly I will put single ram (which was previously in Slot3) and look at the picture below.

Slot 1: (This is the correct one)

It is exactly the statistics of Corsair CM2X2048-6400C4DHX (400MHz at 4-4-4-12).

And below is the Vista Score (please look at the Memory Score)

It scores 5.1 in Memory.

Okay. Everything is done, so I changed to the other pair of RAM in. Ran the CPU-Z, and below is what I got

Slot 2: (The incorrect one)

As I expected, 8500C5D would be running at 533MHz (5-5-5-15) or 400MHz (5-5-5-18). It is not a Corsair CM2X2048-6400C4DHX. It must be something wrong with Corsair.

Same as the previous step, I ran the Vista Performance test. Below is what I got…

Surprisingly, it scores 5.6 in Memory (RAM). Clearly, it is really not a Corsair CM2X2048-6400C4DHX.

I will try to get some helps from where I bought it. Hopefully it could be solved (exchange a new one or whatever) easily =P

There are some ways to check it out.

1. Google PageRank

By installing Google Toolbar, and enabled the function, you could see every site’s Google PageRank. PageRank is Google’s view of the importance of this page. The higher rank you got, the higher value you have.

2. Alexa Ranking

A site traffic ranking tool. It makes statistics of how many visitors your site brings, where your visitors from, etc. The lower number of ranking, represents the higher ranking.

3. Smart PageRank

A site calculates how much is your site worth, in some ways (Traffics, Backlinks, PageRank, Indexed Pages, etc). Of course, the higher value, the better

The Adsense Check for $132994.97

Jeremy Shoemaker, the owner of ShoeMoney got this check on September, 2005.

After he posted the check on that thread, he received many emails and questions. So he posted this…

# 1) How much of the check was profit?
- At the time my expenses were 1 server @ 299$ per month for hosting. I would say atleast 130k was profit.
# 2) How much of the traffic was pay per click?
- None of it was pay per click. Back then I did not know anything at all about pay per click.
# 3) Where did all your traffic come from?
- About 70% of the traffic was direct 15% from search engines and 15% from referrals.
# 4) How much traffic did the site get to get that much money?
- About 75k uniq per day.
# 5) Why did you get a paper check and not wire?
- Back then Google did not do wire transfers for amounts of $10,000.00
# 6) Do you think its possible to still earn that kind of revenue? (most often asked question)
- Yes.
# 7) How long did it take to make revenue?
- I never tried to make any money the first 1.5 years it was running. I just concentrated on providing a good service. About 2 years after I started the site It started to do good revenue from AdSense

Besides, he said, “I have permission from Google to display this in my blog and in my presentations. Please check with Google before you disclose any of your reporting”, on his blog.
